The East Greenbush Central School District is hosting the 3rd annual Jurassic 5K Walk/Run for Mental Health Awareness on Saturday, May 6 at Schodack Town Park in memory of Thomas Bellisario.
Thomas, a former student who attended Green Meadow and then Goff Middle School and Columbia High School, fought a courageous battle with depression before passing away in 2019.
The district is partnering with the Bellisario family to host this event to raise mental health awareness and provide helpful resources to the community.
Participation in the Jurassic 5K is free. Donations are being accepted and will benefit the Thomas Bellisario Memorial Scholarship and provide mental health programming and support within the school community. Representatives from local support agencies will be on hand to get the word out about mental health resources and support.

- Time: Sign In/Registration at 8:30 a.m. and Walk/Run starts at 9:30 a.m.
- Location: Schodack Town Park
- Cost: Free to participate but donations are being accepted. A $25 donation comes with a Jurassic 5K t-shirt.
