Howard L. Goff Middle School students in the MAP 7 program had the unique opportunity to go on a field trip Tuesday to Little Brook Farm in Old Chatham, one of the oldest and largest rescue farms in the Northeast. Little Brook Farm is home to 60 horses, 70 cats, 5 dogs and many donkeys.

While on the field trip, the students learned about a working rescue farm and the care that is involved. The MAP 7 students performed community service while they were learning “hands on” by cleaning the horse stalls, weeding the garden, grooming the horses and stacking hay. The students had a wonderful time!
