More than a dozen two-year colleges and trade schools visited Columbia last month to share information about their programs as part of the school’s Non-Traditional College Fair.

The following schools and organizations attended the event:

  • NY State Apprenticeship: Brick Layers, Electricians, Finishing Trades, Plumbers, Roofers
  • Orlo School of Cosmetology
  • SCCC College Success Program
  • Wildwood Adult Education, Young Adult Program, Work Readiness

“The career focused college/trade school fair was a great success,” said Lori Dunigan who oversees vocational education at Columbia. “This was a great event that exposed students to training programs that they would otherwise know nothing about. I can’t wait to make it bigger and better next year.”
