Columbia High School hosted admissions representatives from 26 colleges and universities on Tuesday morning at its College Caravan so students could learn more about postgraduate opportunities.
The East Greenbush Central School District is offering a Five Hour Pre-Licensing Course on Tuesday, October 10 and Thursday, October 12 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. on both evenings in the Columbia High School library classroom. The course costs $50.00 and you must attend both nights.
All schools in the East Greenbush Central School District will be hosting in-person Open Houses for parents this fall. This is an opportunity for parents to meet their children’s teachers and learn more about what will be taught this school year.
Columbia Math Teacher Nancy Van Oort participated in the Questar III BOCES STEM Research Institute this summer to develop a new lesson for her Probability and Statistics class. The 7-week research program pairs teachers with private businesses and colleges to conduct research and develop new teaching methods or lessons.
