Food for Families Program

The East Greenbush CSD operates a Food for Families Program that provides FREE FOOD to families in need. Boxes of food are packed regularly with a variety of grocery items and then distributed in a confidential process. If your family is in need of some extra support with food, please reach out to Audra Di Bacco at 518-207-2028 or dibaccau@egcsd.org. We also accept food donations to help supply this program. The final day to pay school taxes at East Greenbush Central School District is Monday, October 31. They are subject to a 2 percent penalty.

Tax bills were mailed to residents on September 7 and the tax collection period without penalty ended October 7.

Taxes can be paid in person at Central Administration or mailed to Claudia M. Shields, Tax Collector, East Greenbush Central School District, 29 Englewood Avenue, East Greenbush, NY 12061. Town of Schodack residents are required to pay their taxes at Schodack Town Hall.

As of November 1, any unpaid school taxes and penalties are turned over to the Rensselaer County Bureau of Tax Services and are subject to an additional 7 percent penalty. The Rensselaer County Bureau of Finance may be contacted at 270-2755.
