Food for Families Program

The East Greenbush CSD operates a Food for Families Program that provides FREE FOOD to families in need. Boxes of food are packed regularly with a variety of grocery items and then distributed in a confidential process. If your family is in need of some extra support with food, please reach out to Audra Di Bacco at 518-207-2028 or dibaccau@egcsd.org. We also accept food donations to help supply this program. Genet team at 2019 5th grade math competition Citizen Genet Elementary School won the District-wide 5th Grade Math Competition on June 4 at Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School. Each elementary school sent teams of five students to answer math problems and test their problem solving skills.

The competition included two team rounds and one individual round in which students were tested on subjects such as algebra, geometry and exponents.

Genet’s team of Merrik Lisky, Lindsey Johnson, Rory Brandon, Mary Weinheimer and Robert Graziano was coached by 5th grade teacher Lori Bishop.
