All East Greenbush CSD residents are invited to a Capital Project Community Presentation on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Columbia High School auditorium. During this presentation, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the project’s scope, timelines, cost, and anticipated milestones.

Genet team at 2019 5th grade math competition Citizen Genet Elementary School won the District-wide 5th Grade Math Competition on June 4 at Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School. Each elementary school sent teams of five students to answer math problems and test their problem solving skills.

The competition included two team rounds and one individual round in which students were tested on subjects such as algebra, geometry and exponents.

Genet’s team of Merrik Lisky, Lindsey Johnson, Rory Brandon, Mary Weinheimer and Robert Graziano was coached by 5th grade teacher Lori Bishop.
