Food for Families Program

The East Greenbush CSD operates a Food for Families Program that provides FREE FOOD to families in need. Boxes of food are packed regularly with a variety of grocery items and then distributed in a confidential process. If your family is in need of some extra support with food, please reach out to Audra Di Bacco at 518-207-2028 or We also accept food donations to help supply this program. Columbia High SchoolColumbia High School welcomes incoming 9th graders and any new students to Freshman Orientation on Thursday, August 29 at 9 a.m. in the school auditorium. This program is designed to familiarize incoming freshmen with the world of high school and lay the foundation for a successful first year at Columbia.

The program consists of a full morning of activities including an introduction of student leaders, staff and administrators as well as breakout sessions and tours. The program is scheduled to end at approximately 12:00 p.m. with a pizza lunch.

Parents are welcome to orientation but not required to attend. There will be an informational session for any parents who do attend.
