Genet Elementary School teachers and staff waved and honked horns from their cars during a Lunchtime Parade that they organized for students on Wednesday. An East Greenbush Police Department patrol car led the parade through neighborhoods surrounding the school.
Although the weather made for a cold day, that didn’t stop students and their families from heading outside to wave to the cars and hold homemade signs.
