Elementary schools in the East Greenbush Central School District are starting to schedule in-person kindergarten screenings for August 3-14. School staff will be contacting parents this week to schedule those meetings.
Safety protocols have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of families and staff. The registered student(s) and one parent/guardian should attend the kindergarten screening. All individuals must wear a face covering and should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment. All details will be provided to parents when they are contacted by the school.
Kindergarten screenings take approximately 30 minutes. Students who also require an English as a New Language screening would take an additional 45 minutes.
