COVID Updates and Information

Effective immediately, all children ages 12-15 are eligible to receive the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, meaning all state residents ages 12 and up can now be protected against COVID-19. The Rensselaer County Health Department will be hosting a Pfizer Vaccine Clinic for 12 to 15 year olds at the McDonough Sports Complex at Hudson Valley Community College on Friday, May 14 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Children must be accompanied by a parent and bring proof of age. This is a walk-in clinic. No appointment is necessary.

Columbia High School has scheduled Picture Day for Full Remote students on Wednesday, October 28 in the school library. To limit the number of students in the building (and waiting for their pictures at one time), students will come in at set times based on their last name. Once seated, pictures do not take long.

Picture Times:
8:45-9:15: A-Ba
9:15-9:45: Be-Ca
9:45-10:15: Ce-Di
10:15-10:45: Do-G
10:45-11:15: H-Ke
11:15-11:45: Kh-Mc
11:45-12:15: Me-Pe
12:15-12:45: Ph-Sk
12:45-1:15: Sm-V
1:15-1:45: W-Z

Students will need to provide their own transportation to the school. Parents/visitors may not come into the building with the students. Students must wear masks the entire time they are in the building except for when having their picture taken.
