School Budget Vote and Board Election - May 21

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a school budget for 2024-25 that maintains all programs and services with a 0.55% tax levy increase, which is within the NYS Property Tax Cap. Residents will also vote on a $116 million capital project that would improve school facilities and grounds across the district with no impact to local taxpayers, the replacement of eight school buses, which if approved by voters, will be fully paid for by the Bus Purchase Reserve Fund, and elect three individuals to the Board of Education.

Columbia Virtual Open House – September 21

Columbia High School Open House will be offered virtually on Tuesday, September 21. The virtual format will ensure that parents/guardians receive full information regarding grade level and course curriculum expectations and prevent large gatherings of people within classrooms contributing to the potential spread of COVID-19 among attendees and faculty/staff.

How to proceed:

  • Parents should follow their child’s schedule and click on the department associated with each class.
  • Within each academic department, you will find links to videos corresponding to each teacher & class. In each video, the teacher will provide an overview of the course and an outline of class expectations.
  • Our Virtual Open House website also includes links our Guidance & Counseling Department as well as our Library Media Center.
  • If you have additional questions, or would like to communicate directly with a teacher or building administrator, a link to our Staff Directory is also included.
