Update: Gilligan Road is reopened to all traffic. National Grid has completed the restoration to the power lines and clean up is complete.

National Grid crews are on site currently working to repair the power lines and clean the road from the wires down incident this morning. At this time Gilligan Road remains closed from Columbia Turnpike to the Hannaford exit on Gilligan Road. Please seek alternative routes at this time.
We will advise as to when the intersection is reopened.

Please be advised that Gilligan Road is closed at Columbia Turnpike due to power wires down. Access to Gilligan Road is currently closed at this time. If you need to travel on Gilligan Road use Hays Road. School buses are being rerouted and traffic delays may occur.
There is power at Goff Middle School so school will start on time. However, school staff driving to work and parents dropping children off should take an alternate route to school.
