Columbia High School’s SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) participated in the Great American Smokeout on Thursday. The annual event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and encourages smokers to quit smoking and commit to healthy smoke-free lives.

The students, joined by Capital District Tobacco-Free Communities and Capital District Reality Check, volunteered at tables outside the school cafeteria to educate their peers about the many ways the tobacco industry makes their deadly products sweet, cheap and easy to get.
