More than 100 elementary students gathered at Columbia High School on Saturday evening to play games, make arts and crafts, eat pizza for dinner and watch the movie Encanto as part of a Parent’s Night Out. The event was sponsored by the Columbia Class of 2023.
Students from the senior class watched the elementary students so parents could enjoy a child-free night.
“The kids all seemed to have a great time, and parents seemed very appreciative for this opportunity for both their children and for them,” said Scott Monuteaux, senior class advisor. “The event would not have run as smoothly as it did without the help of all the senior students and parents who volunteered to help.”
