The students in Ms. Ouimet’s, Mrs. DiGiorgi’s and Mrs. Sanborn’s Primary Instruction ELA classes at Howard L. Goff Middle School got together before Spring Break to bake up some Rice Krispy Treats. Students used math, measuring skills and teamwork to make these treats, which they donated to the Nassau Resource Center.
“These students get together throughout the year to collaborate and make something special to donate to the Nassau Resource Center.”
Some previous projects have included baking cookies for the Nassau Resource Center and making Veterans Day cards for those living in the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center’s community living center.
