Three East Greenbush Central School District art teachers – Valerie Gordon (Columbia High School), Andrea Neiman (Columbia High School) and Nicole Weber (Goff Middle School) – had original artwork accepted into the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) Faculty as Artists Exhibition.

The Artist’s Reception was held Friday evening at the Little Gallery on the Russell Sage College campus in Albany.

The exhibit is available to view by appointment through December 2.

“The exhibition celebrated the talents and creativity of my colleagues and area art teachers,” said Ms. Neiman, who also serves as the East Greenbush CSD Art Department Chair. “Exhibitions like this serve to remind the community that art educators are passionate about artmaking both inside and outside the classroom. Not only do we help our students hone their artistic skills, we also seek opportunities to practice our craft and grow as artists.”

Congratulations!
