Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Columbia students on Pi Day
Columbia Math Teachers and students celebrated mathematics this week with special activities, contests and a fun video, all in honor of Pi, which is recognized each year on March 14.

    ($25 gift card to Amazon, gum, pi pencil, and Table Talk pie)
  • 2nd place – Pierce Dalton ’25 – 91 digits
    ($15 gift card to Panera, gum, pi pencil, and Table Talk pie)
  • 3rd place – Holly Thorpe ’26 – 71 digits
    ($10 gift card to Starbucks, gum, pi pencil, and Table Talk pie)

The Math Department teachers at Columbia and Goff collected canned goods and non-perishables to benefit the district backpack program and/or a local food pantry.
