Students and staff in the Center for Therapeutic Academic Excellence Program (CTAEP) completed the ValleyCats Father’s Day Home Run 5K at Joe Bruno Stadium on June 15. Ozzy Jensen ’24 and DJ Dugan ’25, their parents, and CTAEP staff all ran in the race. Ozzy and DJ both placed in the top 3 of their age group.
The students prepared for the race by doing 5K training in Physical Education class during the 4th marking period with Physical Education Teacher Zach Kuhn.
“This was a huge accomplishment for both Ozzy and DJ,” said Mr. Kuhn. “They have made tremendous progress since joining CTAEP.”
