Food for Families Program

The East Greenbush CSD operates a Food for Families Program that provides FREE FOOD to families in need. Boxes of food are packed regularly with a variety of grocery items and then distributed in a confidential process. If your family is in need of some extra support with food, please reach out to Audra Di Bacco at 518-207-2028 or We also accept food donations to help supply this program. Five Columbia Chamber Singers will be performing on the CBS6 production of “Melodies of Christmas” on December 24 and 25 as members of the Empire State Youth Chorale. Briana Figgs, Laura Haney, Noah Millan, Brandon Smith and Jayden Rodriguez were selected following auditions.

The production was filmed at live performances at Proctors Theatre and will air multiple times on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The event benefits the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center.
