Valentines Day cardsEast Greenbush Central School District teachers and students made more than 1,000 Valentine’s Day cards that were delivered to local seniors through Meals on Wheels, and hand-delivered to Van Rensselaer Manor, Eddy Hawthorne Ridge, and Evergreen Commons.

All facilities were extremely happy to receive the valentines as they know how much the cards brighten up the spirits of many seniors in this community.

“I was blown away by the quality and quantity of cards we received and delivered,” said Columbia Social Studies teacher Daniel Wagner who organized the effort. “Our teachers and students are truly a caring and giving group that continually impress me in all of the community outreach that we do.”
