2023 Tenure recipientsTwenty educators including teachers, teaching assistants and administrators have earned tenure this school year after successfully completing a four-year probationary period of effective instruction and evaluation. They each were recognized at Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting in the Columbia High School auditorium.

“It is a challenging process to earn tenure,” said Superintendent Jeff Simons during the ceremony. “It is not an automatic. It certainly is not an automatic in the East Greenbush Central School District. So the individuals who are being honored this evening and receiving recognition from our board are well deserving.”

Congratulations!
