The Columbia High School Orchestra performed a holiday concert for veterans and staff in the lobby of the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany on Tuesday. As veterans came in and out of the facility for appointments, they stopped to listen to the music, which included popular carols such as Jingle Bells, Hark the Herald, Silent Night and Chanukah.
The orchestra, which is directed by music teacher Sue Chrzan, delighted the crowd and even took requests at the end of the concert.
