The Columbia Girls’ Bowling team won the NYSPHSAA Championship on Sunday in Syracuse, completing an outstanding season. Columbia finished the regular season with an undefeated 16-0 record, won the Suburban Council Championship Tournament and the Section 2 Championships Tournament.
At the state championships, Columbia had a total pinfall of 5,982 over the six games, 301 pins more than 2nd place East Islip.
This marks the team’s third state championship (2001, 2016, 2024). Congratulations!
