Columbia High School seniors Caitlin Weinheimer ’24 and Aurora Forte ’24 were named Class of 2024 valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, at the Columbia High School Awards on Thursday evening.

Both students have had accomplished high school careers, including weighted GPAs over 100.

Caitlin Weinheimer

Ms. Weinheimer is a member of the National Honor Society, German Honor Society and competed on the Science Olympiad team. She earned the Seal of Civic Readiness and the Seal of Biliteracy on her diploma. Additionally, she is a standout musician, playing violin in the Chamber Orchestra.

Ms. Weinheimer will attend Emory University in the fall.

Salutatorian
Aurora Forte

Ms. Forte is a member of the National Honor Society and participates in Chamber Singers and Peer Leadership. She has also served as team manager for the Cross Country team and volunteered at the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon.

Ms. Forte will attend the University of Connecticut this fall.
