The Columbia Girls’ Bowling team won a NYS Championship in March.

It was a banner year for Columbia Athletics as the Blue Devils succeeded in a variety of sports winning Section 2 Championships, advancing through state tournaments and establishing new opportunities for students to compete.

“This was a historic year for Columbia Athletics,” said Director of Athletics Ryan Jones. “It is amazing to see all the accomplishments of our student athletes and coaches at both the team and individual levels. For the second year in a row, we had a Columbia Athletics team win a team state championship! We also had two individual athletes claim state championships, one athlete was named an All-American, and numerous other athletes competed at the state level.

“The successes of our programs are a direct result of the hard work and dedication put forth by our student athletes, coaches, and support staff,” Mr. Jones continued. “We also couldn’t do this without the support of the families, fans and the school community!”
