In accordance with state regulations, school districts are required to develop District-wide Safety Plans each school year. The comprehensive plan outlines policies and procedures for emergencies, responses to threats of violence, and the number and types of safety drills to be completed.

The Safety Plan also includes the School Resource Officer agreements. The terms of the agreements will not change from 2023-24 to 2024-25.

The draft District-wide Safety Plan is now open for public comment for the next 30 days. After this period ends, the plan will be submitted for approval to the Board of Education at its August 21 public meeting.
