Going to a doctor’s office can be an anxious experience for a child, especially for those with autism, anxiety, ADHD or other developmental disorders. Thanks to Columbia High School art students, that experience has become much more cheerful and colorful.

Columbia High School students enrolled in Studio Art classes created a large art installation made of Post-it Notes in the main lobby that honors Martin Luther King Jr. and other inspiring black citizens. The artwork highlights approximately 400 individuals including Ella Fitzgerald, Ruby Bridges, Muhammed Ali, Rosa Parks and many more historical figures.
