DPS Moving Up Ceremony
Wearing blue caps with gold tassels, 5th grade students walked across a stage in the Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School gym on Tuesday to receive graduation certificates. The celebratory event signified the end of elementary school and a new beginning as the students will attend sixth grade at Howard L. Goff Middle School in the fall.
Free Summer Meals for Kids in Rensselaer County
Free meals are available to children and teens in need throughout Rensselaer County this summer. Each of the sites offer free meals to anyone 18 years old or under on a first come first serve basis.
East Greenbush CSD Offering Free Meals in All District Schools Starting Next School Year
We are pleased to announce that the East Greenbush Central School District will be offering free breakfast and lunch in all school buildings starting in the 2024-25 school year.
PK-8 Half Day – Wednesday, June 26
There will be a half day for all students in grades PK-8 on Wednesday, June 26. This will be the last day of the school year.
DPS In Full Bloom
Flowers are in full bloom outside Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School – and they are not your average tulips or daffodils. They are large, wooden flowers that students painted using different colors and designs in art class.
