Capital Project Breaking News


The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Bell Top Elementary School students gathered in the Learning Barn behind school earlier this month to learn the scientific process for making maple syrup. First grade teacher Melanie Lyte led the annual activity by boiling sap that students had collected from trees on the Bell Top property earlier in the winter.

Genet Elementary School hosted its annual STEM Fair on March 7 in the school gymnasium, featuring 43 projects on fascinating topics such as crystals, DNA, hydroelectricity and water filtration.

The two-day concert is meant to showcase musical options for students.
