Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Two Columbia Boys’ Wrestlers Win Section 2 Championships
Columbia Boys’ Wrestlers Matt Hoxie ’24 (170 lbs.) and Tanner Scaccia ’25 (190 lbs.) won Section 2 Division 1 Championships this past weekend at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls. They both advance to the NYS Championships which will be held on February 23-24 at MVP Arena in Albany.

The Columbia String Ensemble musicians performed at the State Education Building in Albany on February 1. The event, the Annual Awards Ceremony, honored employees for their years of service in the State Education Department.
