Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

6th Annual Barrett Memorial Run – October 20

Student running in Barrett Memorial RunRegistration is now open for the 6th annual Barrett Memorial Run which will take place on Saturday, October 20 at Columbia High School.

The race is open to K-12 students and will begin at 9:15 a.m.

The event honors the late Dennis Barrett who taught social studies and coached cross country at Columbia High School. Proceeds from the event support the Barrett Memorial Scholarship which is given to two graduating seniors on the Columbia Cross Country team.

The event is sponsored by the Columbia Cross Country program and the East Greenbush Education Foundation.
