Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

East Greenbush CSD will continue to offer Grab n Go meals for pick up or bus delivery through August 28. Families will be given that day’s lunch and the next day’s breakfast at once.

Pick up sites will remain at:

  • Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School in Nassau, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Red Mill Elementary School in Rensselaer – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Bus delivery service remains unchanged for families that have no means to pick up meals. If you would like delivery, you MUST call the Transportation office at 518-477-9288 on weekdays between the hours of 7:00-9:00 a.m. Buses will deliver lunches to students between 10:00 a.m.-Noon.

We ask that a parent, guardian or student come to the bus to receive their meal. Grab and Go meals are perishable and bus drivers cannot leave meals unattended.

“As a District we feel that providing meal stability to our families is important to continue throughout the summer,” said Phyllis Krug, Food Service Manager.
