Green Meadow Named 2021 National Blue Ribbon School

Green Meadow Elementary School was named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education on Tuesday morning. The recognition is based on a school’s overall academic performance. Green Meadow is one of only 325 schools in the country, including one of 19 schools in New York to receive the 2021 National Blue Ribbon School award. Roofing repairs at Genet Elementary School.

The East Greenbush Central School District would like to provide an update on the Capital Project that was approved in 2017. To date, all of the major health and safety priority items have been completed at all schools as part of Phase I, including new fire alarm and carbon monoxide systems, new security cameras, a new card access entry system and a new public address system.

This summer, work continues as part of Phase II and III which includes replacement of bathrooms, HVAC systems, roofing, paving, masonry and lighting.
