The Education Committee reviews student achievement data and the strategic plans, initiatives and programs developed to improve student performance that leads to increased opportunities for successful college and career readiness. The Education Committee investigates the development of new and responsive education programs, identifies barriers to continuous growth in student achievement and ensures that the education program remains consistent with the District Mission Statement and the goals developed by the Board of Education.
The Education Committee recommends programs for approval by the Committee for Curriculum Studies, Superintendent and Board of Education.
