Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

NYS Grades 3-8 Testing Information
The New York State Grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics Exams and the Grades 5 and 8 Science Exams will be administered this spring. These tests are required by the federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015.
Save the Date: Columbia Senior Prom
Senior Prom for the Columbia High School Class of 2024 is scheduled for Friday, May 31 from 6-10 p.m. at the Albany Capital Center. All students attending prom must attend Prom Walk-In at Columbia High School from 4:45-5:45 p.m.

PK-5 Half Day – Tuesday, March 26
The East Greenbush CSD will have a half day for students in grades PK-5 on Tuesday, March 26 due to parent conferences.
Genet Donates Nearly 1,500 Canned Goods to Food Pantries
Genet Elementary School is donating 1,348 soup cans and 138 cans of vegetables to the CoNSERNS-U food pantry and the Rensselaer Street Soldiers following its annual Souper Bowl can drive in February. The Souper Bowl is coordinated by Genet Student Council.
