The East Greenbush Central School District was informed today that one student from Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School and one student from Genet Elementary School have tested positive for COVID-19. The two cases are unrelated and due to the timeline of when the students were last in school and when they became infectious, there was no exposure at the schools that would require contact tracing. The district concluded this with the direction of Rensselaer County Health Department. There will be no impact on the school schedule related to these confirmed cases of COVID-19.
