Columbia Publishes 2023-24 Labyrinth Magazine
Columbia High School published its annual art and literature magazine “Labyrinth” on Wednesday. The magazine features photography, drawings and poetry created by students and staff from this school year.

The East Greenbush CSD released Episode 12 of its podcast Let’s Learn Together today. In this episode, we have a discussion with three retiring teachers – DPS 3rd Grade Teacher Beth Hart, Goff French Teacher Joanne Loccisano, and Columbia Special Education Teacher Tara Maney. We discuss their teaching careers, what changes they have seen over the years, and what they will miss most.

Gene’s Fish Fry Fundraiser to Benefit Class of 2027 – June 4
The Columbia Class of 2027 is hosting a Dine to Donate Fundraiser at Gene’s Fish Fry on Tuesday, June 4 from 4-8 p.m. Gene’s has generously offered to donate a portion of the proceeds during that time to the Class of 2027!
Participation in Government Classes Support Pothole Prevention Plan
Columbia High School Participation in Government classes hosted their Legislative Lobby Day on May 23 in the school auditorium with students presenting their bills to classmates. Projects included ones specific to the East Greenbush Central School District, such as adding American Sign Language to elementary schools, and state laws such as a tax on junk food.
