Columbia High School students on the Columbia Kicks Cancer team are planning a Canines Kick Cancer Dog Walk for Saturday, March 9 at Hampton Manor Lake starting at 10 a.m.
Let’s Learn Together: Episode 5
The East Greenbush CSD released Episode 5 of its podcast Let’s Learn Together earlier today. In this episode, Superintendent Jeff Simons discusses pre-k, how it benefits children, and how the students spend their day. Also, students share their favorite school meals, our staff profile features DPS Principal Jack Alvey, we share tips for eating healthy, and the Columbia Players are highlighted during the Student Activity Spotlight.

Wear Red Day for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – February 27
Columbia High School students on the Columbia Kicks Cancer team have organized a Wear Red Day in our elementary schools for Tuesday, February 27 to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Students and staff who would like to participate should wear red to school on that day and bring in a $1 donation.
Green Meadow Donates 4,000 Canned Goods to CoNSERNS-U Food Pantry
The Green Meadow Student Council delivered more than 4,000 canned goods to the CoNSERNS-U Food Pantry on Thursday, and then helped sort all of the donations.
Winter Recess
All schools will be closed for Winter Recess starting Monday, February 19 through Friday, February 23. Schools will reopen on Monday, February 26.
