Upcoming COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

The Rensselaer County Health Department will be hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinics this summer throughout the county. The vaccine is free and walk-ins are welcome. Clinics include: Onderdonk Park, East Greenbush, NY (Tuesday, August 10, 5-7 p.m., J&J); North Greenbush Town Hall, Wynantskill, NY (Sunday, August 22, 5-7 p.m., J&J); Stewart’s Shops, Nassau, NY (Tuesday, August 24, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Pfizer or J&J). Injuries

Any student who sustains a sports-related injury and which requires medical care, will need to provide a medical release from their physician stating that the student may return to participation in physical education classes and/or sports.

Any student who is injured in school and seeks medical care will also be required to provide a medical release so that the student may return to full participation in physical education classes and/or sports.

Even if the physician does not restrict the student from any activities, documentation from the physician will still be required stating that the student may return to all activities.

Any student that sustains a concussion must be cleared by their private physician AND by the school medical director before returning to play as per the East Greenbush Central School District Concussion Policy.
