Capital Project Breaking News
The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a Capital Project that would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools. The estimated cost for the proposed project is $116 million, but due to state building aid and expiring debt, it is estimated there would be no additional impact to local taxpayers.

Red Mill Elementary School hosted its annual Field Day for students in grades 1-5 on Thursday with track and field events throughout the day. Students competed in sprints, hurdles, long jump, javelin, discus, softball throw, potato sack races, jump rope and basketball shooting.
Participation in Government Classes Support Pothole Prevention Plan
Columbia High School Participation in Government classes hosted their Legislative Lobby Day on May 23 in the school auditorium with students presenting their bills to classmates. Projects included ones specific to the East Greenbush Central School District, such as adding American Sign Language to elementary schools, and state laws such as a tax on junk food.

Green Meadow Elementary School practiced an evacuation and relocation safety drill on Wednesday morning as all students and staff boarded school buses and were brought to Genet Elementary School.
