District Studying School Start Times
The East Greenbush Central School District has begun studying Columbia High School’s start time and its impact on educational outcomes and district operations. An online survey will be emailed to K-12 parents, Columbia students and all district staff on Monday, December 3 to obtain input from the school community.
New Ice Hockey Team Takes Flight
For the first time in their lives, Columbia High School students Collin Dougherty, Johnny Ely and Carson Kehmna played in a high school ice hockey game last Thursday. They weren’t wearing Blue Devils jerseys, but that didn’t matter. They were playing for the Capital District Jets, a new team with players from five local school districts.
