Next Board of Education Meeting – November 28
The next Board of Education meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Red Mill Elementary School. All residents are invited to attend.
School Cafeterias Will Not Serve Romaine Lettuce Until Further Notice
On Tuesday, November 20, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised “U.S. consumers not eat any romaine lettuce, and retailers and restaurants not serve or sell any,” due to an E. coli outbreak across the country.
New York City Bus Trip – April 6, 2019
Columbia’s Freshman Class is sponsoring a bus trip to New York City on Saturday, April 6, 2019 that includes the option to see the Broadway performance of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” starring Jeff Jeff Daniels.
Students Send Out Thanksgiving Cards
East Greenbush CSD students made 1,000 Thanksgiving cards that will be included with meals at the Equinox Thanksgiving Community Dinner.
Thanksgiving Recess
All schools will be closed for Thanksgiving Recess from Wednesday, November 21 to Friday, November 23. Schools will re-open on Monday, November 26.
