DPS Student Council Donates $460 to St. Catherine’s Center for Children in Albany

Three Columbia High School seniors returned to their roots last week, visiting their old elementary school Green Meadow to assist 2nd graders in creating salt dough landforms as part of the class’ geography unit.

This morning at approximately 7:45 a.m., a Columbia High School student enrolled in the Center for Therapeutic Academic Excellence Program, which is located at Genet Elementary School in East Greenbush, left school without permission. School staff contacted the student’s family and the school district worked with the East Greenbush Police Department to locate the student. The student has been found safe.
The Columbia High School Key Club has partnered with East Greenbush Kiwanis to collect donations in support of Kentucky Disaster Relief following the tragic tornadoes from this past week.
