Columbia High School students embraced the spirit of Thanksgiving this month by sharing what they are thankful for with colorful sticky notes on the wall of the lobby.

Students in Columbia’s Studio Art classes are celebrating Day of the Dead festivities with a special exhibit in the school’s main lobby.
Columbia art students celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month by creating an art show in the high school lobby. The show was on display earlier this month and included watercolor paintings, acrylic paintings, color pencil drawings, chalk pastels and mixed media.
Playskool crayons have been found to contain toxic levels of asbestos, according to the consumer advocacy group U.S. Public Interest Research Group.
Students closed one eye and tilted their heads up toward the sky, looking into their homemade kaleidoscopes and witnessing beautiful colors and designs.
Eighth grader Eliana Bieneman won the AAA Hudson Valley Traffic Safety Poster Contest for the second year in a row. She received the “Club Award” which is the top award given out.
