Columbia Athletic Hall of Fame Celebration – May 14
Tickets are now on sale for the Columbia Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony on Saturday, May 14. The event will start with a dedication at 4:30 p.m. in the Columbia Athletic Hall of Fame Walkway followed by a reception at 5:30 p.m. at Franklin Terrace in Troy.
Goff Hosts 3v3 St. Patrick’s Basketball Tournament
The PE Sports Club at Howard L. Goff Middle School hosted a 3v3 St. Patrick’s Basketball Tournament on Thursday after school.
Spring Sports Tryout Information
Tryouts for spring sports will begin on Monday, March 14. Modified spring sports will begin Monday, March 21. All students must be approved by the Health Office before tryouts/practice.
Four Blue Devils Reach Podium at Indoor Track State Championships
Kejhaune Lester and Evan Farnan won a state championship as part of the Section 2 Intersectional Relay team on Saturday at the NYSPHSAA/NYS Federation Indoor Championships held at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island. Nathan Davis (1600m/4th State and 7th Federation) and Alex Wheeler (Triple Jump/6th State and 6th Federation) also made the podium representing Columbia High School.
Michael Leonard Named Chapter 2 Athletic Director of the Year
Columbia Director of Athletics Michael Leonard was named Chapter 2 Athletic Director of the Year by the NYS Athletic Administrators Association earlier this week.
