USDA Meal Waiver Ends, District Offers Free and Reduced Price Meals Based on Income Eligibility

During the pandemic, schools were able to offer meals at no cost to all students due to temporary flexibilities provided by the federal government. Unfortunately, these flexibilities have expired, and schools are no longer able to provide free meals to all students in the 2022-2023 school year. Schools must now transition back to charging for meals based on program eligibility. Households may complete a 2022-2023 Application for Free or Reduced-Price School Meals.
