The East Greenbush Central School District Mathematics Department in grades 6-12 is sponsoring a Pi Can Challenge Food Drive now until Thursday, March 14, which is known as Pi Day. Donations of canned goods and non-perishables will benefit the district backpack program and/or a local food pantry. Items may be given to any mathematics teacher in grades 6-12.
Columbia High School students on the Columbia Kicks Cancer team are planning a Canines Kick Cancer Dog Walk for Saturday, March 9 at Hampton Manor Lake starting at 10 a.m.

In this episode, Superintendent Jeff Simons discusses pre-k, how it benefits children, and how the students spend their day.
