More than two dozen staff members who are retiring from the East Greenbush Central School District this year were recognized for their service at last week’s Board of Education meeting. Congratulations!
Parents of resident students in need of special transportation arrangements, such as private and parochial school transportation or transportation between school and a daycare center or placement, for the school year starting in September 2020, should request this transportation in writing by no later than April 1, 2020.

East Greenbush Central School District’s Head Mechanic Mark Noeth was appointed as the new supervisor of the Transportation Department at the Board of Education meeting on October 16. He will start his new position on December 23, succeeding MaryAnn Belmont who is retiring. We sat down with Mr. Noeth recently to discuss his new role and responsibilities.
All district schools will dismiss 15 minutes early on Friday, November 8 for a state-mandated Emergency Go Home Drill. Students will be dismissed to the location parents have indicated on the Student Verification Form in case of an emergency closing.
