Columbia is celebrating the “12 Days of Columbia Players” by featuring different student performances each day leading up to Christmas Day. The videos are posted every afternoon on the Columbia Players’ Instagram and YouTube channel.
Genet Elementary School will be hosting local author John Gray for a virtual book reading on Wednesday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Genet PTO.
East Greenbush CSD informs the school community about the NYS Micro-Cluster Strategy.
The East Greenbush Central School District was informed this past weekend that one student from Columbia High School and one student from Green Meadow Elementary School have tested positive for COVID-19. The two cases are unrelated and there was no exposure at the schools that would require contact tracing. The district concluded this with the direction of Rensselaer County Health Department. There will be no impact on the school schedule related to these confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The East Greenbush Central School District has scheduled a virtual community forum for Monday, December 21 (7:00-8:30 p.m.) to check-in with families about the school year thus far, the impact of COVID-19 and how the district is working to keep schools open and safe. The event will be live streamed and provide an opportunity for members from the school community to ask questions.
