East Greenbush CSD will open with a 2-hour delay on Monday, December 12 due to the winter weather. There will be no AM BOCES for Columbia students.

Four different ensembles from Columbia High School performed a free holiday concert for the public at the Empire State Plaza in Albany on Friday. The songs included holiday classics such as “Carol of the Bells,” “Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow” and “White Christmas.”
Howard L. Goff Middle School is collecting new mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for children and adults in need with its inaugural Mitten Tree. The Mitten Tree is on display in the front lobby of school and donations can be hung directly on the tree until December 22.
The Board of Education meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 21 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 20. The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. and be held in the Howard L. Goff Middle School cafeteria.
The Bell Top Girl Choir performed at the 2nd annual Starry Night Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting at North Greenbush Town Hall last Saturday. At the tree lighting, the choir performed Jill Gallina’s “Winter Fantasy,” which is a special harmony arrangement of “Jingle Bells.”
